CL 415 - Vertical fin and stabilizer

Details

Vertical fin and stabilizer

These parts built using traditional methods. Balsa structure sheeted with 15/10 (mm) light balsa. I've mmade a 3D model of the fin and the rudder to draw the different parts and ribs which were not detailed on the original plan.

Building the fin requires a lot of attention. As you will have to fix the stabilizer to the fin. Make sure the stabilizer bed is correctly adjusted to obtain the right incidence.
The elevator control rod is concealed inside the fin. I have installed the elevator servo at the base of the vertical fin to minimize the lenght of the control rods.
