Cessna 182 Skylane cessna_182_s.jpg

After almost 5 years of use, My Cessna 182 (Kyosho) needed a complete renovation.

Kyosho stopped the production of this nice model years ago. As I really liked this model that flies wonderfully, I had no other option than to keep this one in good shape.
The plane was entirely taken down, cleaned, engine replaced, new parts made where needed, repainted, radio checked then reassembled.
I completely removed the original covering film and use light glass cloth to cover the plane instead. 2 components car paint was applied to the model.
This has the advantage to make a beautiful, very durable finish, totally oil resistant.
Well, what a tough job. Much longer than go to the model shop and buy another RTF box. But the result was well worth the effort.

Messerschmitt ME 262 par GWS

me262_01_s.jpg

Twin edf Airbus A320 rc

Introduction

a320_final_thumb.jpgThis pages describe the building of a "scale" model of an Airbus A320 radio-controlled plane.
You should find enough information both in the plans and in the following pages to build this plane if you have enough motivation. But don't forget: This project is not easy and not for a beginner. There are quite a lot of parts to cut (RTF lovers this is not for you) and you will need some scratch building experience to build this plane.
Radio installation is not detailled. A modeller who wants to build such a model should be capable to make his/her own choices about installing and cabling RC equipment in a flying model.

CNC - Introduction

CNC What does it means?

cnc_vue_01.jpgCNC is an acronym for "Computer Numerical Control". It means that a machine tool like a lathe or a milling machine for example, is controlled by a computer to perform a series of operations. If this kind of equipement is quite common in the industry, it was highly unthinkable to build or buy such a machine for hobby usage just a few years ago. Then a handful of ingenious guys started to play around and made the path easier for everybody.
