Hello everyone... it's been now almost two months. I'd like to give some updates and photos. So far so good. I have started sheeting of the fuselage. Tail section is done. Central box is done. Wings, landing gears and engines to built. So assuming couple of weeks to take off.

You may see some differences with Jeff's model. There is one huge bolt shown on the photo. It was a temporary bolt added during the assembly of the two hauls. Another two bolts used to secure perfectly. After couple of days I have removed them.

This was the beginnig. I had no difficulties or anything. Thanks to the Jeff. He did excellent modeling. All pieces fit together perfectly. by the way. I have used 3mm plywood instead of balsa. It is really hard to find balsa material and get them cut. I also wanted something a little stronger.

One boat company in Scotland helped me to cut pieces. Thanks to Mr Alec Jordan owner of the company was very helpful to me. I arranged all pieces into 8'x4' working area in AutoCAD and I sent the file to Mr Jordan. 8'x4' 3mm plywood sheet cut in quarters and then all pieces CNC cutted. Cutting was perfect and accurate. All I had to do was remove the piece from the sheet and little sanding and filing.

Here is another pic after about a week during the joining of the halves. You may notice that metal bar. Let me explain: I was running out of 3mm balsa stripes and I have out that metal strip at work. It's a aluminium welding electrode. 3.1mm in diameter so light but so strong also flexible. This was perfectly fitted into ribs slots. So I have used two of them symetrical. You may use that for receiver antenna as well.

you might think it's a little mess but don't!. When you finish and a little sanding it becomes a real perfection.

Here is another view. Landing gears have arrived. Rudder and horizontal stabiliser located temporary. They are not aligned.
